Source/Developer : BICC (TRESA Project) Title : SALW Basics - Recognizing SALW and Ammunition Description : This modules is part of the SALW Basics series, which aims to provide a basic fundamental understanding of the issue of SALW to trainees who have little or no familiarity with the subject. It is recommended that this module be inserted at the beginning of all TRESA SALW courses. The module gives an overview of SALW by providing pictures and explanations on some of the most widely used types of weapons and their characteristics as well as ammunition and unexploded ordanace. It also explains SALW risks and basic safety rules.
